Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX: GTG; NASDAQ: GENE) is pleased to report that it has executed an agreement with GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Corp. (“GE Healthcare”), based in Piscataway, New Jersey, USA. GE Healthcare is a unit of General Electric Company that employs more than 46,000 people and which, in 2006, generated total revenues of USD 17 billion from serving healthcare professionals and their patients in more than 100 countries around the world. The agreement between the Company and GE Healthcare involves a settlement of all disputes between the parties and the granting of a license to GTG’s non-coding patents. The commercial terms of the agreement are confidential. |
