Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX: GTG; NASDAQ: GENE) is pleased to announce a range of executive appointments to accelerate the company’s transformation and implementation of its strategic agenda. New management appointments: • Ross Barrow has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Mr Barrow’s previous role was Director, Technology and Melbourne Operations for Leica Biosystems Division, a subsidiary of the NYSE listed Danaher Corporation. Ross was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Vision BioSystems Limited, and prior to that, spent 11 years with BHP in a variety of roles managing major R&D and technology development programs. Ross brings more than 10 years of senior management experience in the clinical in-vitro diagnostics industry as well as broad experience in managing global teams and operations. • Catherine Barclay has been appointed People and Customer Service Manager. Ms Barclay was previously the Human Resources Operations Manager with AXA APH. Catherine has more than eight years human resources experience and 10 years experience managing customer service teams in the financial services sector. Chief Executive Officer of Genetic Technologies, Mr Michael Ohanessian, said the new appointments are a critical step in the development and implementation of the company’s strategic goals. “These appointments are very important to the future of Genetic Technologies. We are extremely fortunate to have secured the services of such high calibre people with extensive business and international management expertise,” he said. In other personnel changes, Genetic Technologies’ Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Gary Cobon, has decided to leave the company. “Gary leaves Genetic Technologies after having implemented new systems and processes that have greatly improved the functioning of our research and development projects. Gary leaves GTG with our best wishes for the future,” said Mr Ohanessian. |
