On November 24th, 2008, Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX: GTG; NASDAQ: GENE) informed the Market that its new Board of Directors, which largely replaced the previous Board, was undertaking a formal review of the Company’s recent decision to enforce its BRCA testing rights. GTG is now pleased to announce that the new Board has duly completed this review and resolved to immediately revert to its original decision to allow other laboratories in Australia to freely perform BRCA testing. GTG has state of the art testing facilities based in Melbourne, Australia, where it provides high quality, cost efficient genetic testing, including BRCA testing, within a very short timeframe.
